FRANKLIN TWP., AUG. 25 -- Died in Franklin Twp., Tuesday, August 18, in the 85th. year of his age, Augustus Pifer.  The funeral took place from his late residence, August 20, interment at the Clay Lutheran Church, conducted by Rev. Muma, pastor of the church, of which he was a member.  Mr. Pifer was a life-long Democrat.
